Provincial Bus Ban final solution??

 Provincial Bus Ban Final solution?

Is it really the provincial bus ban on Edsa the final Solution? Last week's dry run ended in a massive failure with the ordinary passengers as one of the victims including the Operators of the Bus companies who participated in the dry run loosing about thousands of pesos in income for that particular day. But what did MMDA General Manager Jojo Garcia said about the failure?

If ever magkaroon ng confusion, it was not our fault; this was well-planned ilang araw tayong nagmeeting nyan. I think it’s the injunction, kasi kung wala ‘tong papel na ‘to, tuloy tayo bukas nang maayos,” Garcia said in a press briefing at the MMDA headquarters in Makati.

Basta hindi nag-comply lahat, walang mangyayari. Hindi natin makikita talaga kung magiging effective," Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) General Manager Jose Arturo "Jojo" Garcia said Wednesday.

He is blaming the writ of Preliminary injunction as if it is Illegal. Why didn't the MMDA just cancel the Dry run after all there is a Preliminary Injunction? And now they are saying that only few bus company precipitated why are you expecting them to participate if there is a COURT ORDER? Who are they to lecture about undisciplined if you yourself are not following the court order?

In a data that the MMDA  posted it shows that there are many private cars travelling edsa than the other mode of transportations combined: (see picture below)

The 12,283 buses, only 3,500 of those are provincial buses. It may contribute a very little but not enough to ease the traffic.
The main question about the ban is how are they going to transport people from north to the southern integrated terminal, for example you are from northern metro manila.  This is what they said in there circular

What do they mean extending city buses to the integrated terminal? Let see what Jojo garcia said? Please see (http://www.mmda.gov.ph/54-news/news-2019/4018-aug-1-2019-mmda-lgus-join-forces-over-clearing-operations-2.html )
Also, the number coding for city operating buses shall also be lifted.

“This means additional 20-percent of city-operating buses’ fleet will be allowed to operate to ensure there are enough number of city buses that will pick up passengers at the interim terminals,” said Garcia.

I thought the goal of the MMDA was to decrease the number of buses traversing edsa but they plan to lift the number coding of city buses in order to accommodate passengers going to those integrated terminal? that was confusing isn't it?

This are what I'm expecting

1. I will also assumed that those buses will not be crowded or hindi tayuan why? because of Large traveling bags.

2. I also expect the city buses will leave according to there time and not according to PUNUAN or leaving the terminal because the bus is already full, because if those CITY buses are already in full capacity city passengers going to work will only stand and don't have a chance to sit.

3. And of course traffic jam will decrease.

MMDA and LTFRB have been banning public transportation ever since. here are those policies.

1. They did ban UV express from traversing in Edsa saying the same thing traffic jam will decrease but as years Go by traffic Jam is getting worse.

2. The ban of Carpooling (http://www.interaksyon.com/trends-spotlights/2019/06/25/150925/wunder-carpool-ltfrb-shutdown/)

By banning Carpool, at the same time they also ban Driver only seat on private vehicles. So where will the passengers Go? By this time

3. Banning of Jeepneys in edsa

With all this banning of public transportation etc. where is the relief of the commuters? And other people who defend this policies of MMDA  are saying that we are just complaining we are envious FYI in those previous policies of MMDA we did not complained about it, because we said to our selves that it will be for the greater good but to no avail. WHERE THE SAID EASING TRAFFIC?? You see The real Solution is to DECONGEST and spread out those companies in metro manila to other regions through Federalism as Casiple said before. I hope this will teach us a lesson in our current System.
