There are many claims that democracy has died in the Philippines and the accusations being thrown are Political persecutions, Human rights abuses, Freedom of Speech and etc. and the they even said that don't be blinded by governments propaganda. What about the Opposition Propaganda??
On Political persecutions
Ano ba meaning nila ng political persecutions? Lalo na ng partido liberal?? Tinawag nilang political persecution ang ginagawa daw ng gobyerno kay Liela De Lima. My God that is a blatant lie the fact that there is a case filed against her regarding the drug protector issue of course makukulong ka pansamantala until the hearing has finally done and reach its court ruling. Another issue raised about political persection is the Ouster of CJ Sereno.. Ano ginawa ng opposition para masuportahan ang kanilang allegation na may political Persecution ang pinakinggan nila ay ang dissenting Opinion na ini Highlight ng Mainstream media without quoting also the concuring opinion. Is that the what you mean by Democracy listening only on the Minority? No one highlighted the concurring opinion they Dilawans must understand that supreme court decision was based on the majority. Hindi ko naman sinasabi na hindi dapat i Qoute ang dissenting but of course the mainstream media could have qouted both. And they must remember that the prevailing laws are in there 1987 Constitution na ibinandera ng tinatawag ng dilawan na ina ng Demokrasya. The supreme court interprets the law. No one called former PGMA's arrest as political persecution before when she was arrested without warrant. No one also called political persecution when CJ Corona was tried in Senate impeachment court that said to be tainted with political motivations as senator miriam defensor santiago. Tapos sasaabihin nyo kinoqoute ko ang dissenting opinion?? ginagaya ko lang ang Logic nyo sa sitwasyon.. Politcal persecution is present when the government in power arrests people without due process or merely arrested because of there political leanings.
On Human Rights abuses.
May mga claims then about human rights abuses commited by the state kuno as per Risa Hontiveros. All claims of risa's accusations are all hearsay without any solid proof that there was a sponsored state killings. Alam naman natin na hindi agad matatawag na EJK iyon ng hindi pa tapos ang hearing sa mga korte, pero the problem with Hontiveros is that she is connecting it with the Oplan tokhang without any basis.. ni Hindi man lang sinasagi sa isip ni Hontiveros na baka naman mayor ng isang bayan ang nagpapatokhang at hindi mismo ang chief executive, Kasi Kung ganun lang din sana BAKIT Isinisisi kay Duterte ay mga patayang nangyari SA DAVAO NOONG PANAHON ni PNOY EE Hindi naman si DUTERTE Presidente noon?? PERO what did the media PORTRAY??They PORTRAY DUTERTE is TO BE BLAMED DURING THE last administration EJKs on DAVAO. At ni hindi man lang tiningnan ni HONTIVEROS ang angulo ng poltical assasination led by the offcial's enemies? Like for example the Parojinogs? Lumitaw din na ang mga parojinog ayon mismo sa mga nakatira sa syudad na iyon ay kilalang pumapaytay din ng political opponents yan ni hindi sumagi sa utak ng Human rights at ni Hontiveros yan.. and it was highlighted by the media as extra judicial killings so investigation was needed to understand the whole story and should be addressed in court. Unang una they are basing there allegations on the pronouncement of the president without any supporting facts and a plain hearsay of Matobato. if allegations will be the basis for this cases then I will also believe that Pnoy and Garin Committed a genocide when they implemented the dengue vaccine. And to site another example is the Mendiola massacre, Hacienda luisita Massacre, and so on No one has looked into it and not highlighted by the media and then the media will cry out against propaganda My God..
On Freedom of Speech
Eto ang pinaka paborito ni Maria Ressa sumisigaw sila ng duterte is silencing the media. Anong basehan nun?? Silencing the media ba yun kung imbestigahan ang iyong kumpanya about foreign ownership? of course if you are accusing someone of violating laws you yourself should be prepared to be attacked lalo na siguro kung may issues ka na tlagang lumabag ka sa batas.. pero kung nag shut down ka lang dahil sa pagiging anti government mo without basis or under the pretext of subversive ka, dun ka palang magngangawa. Silencing the media?? Eh yung empleyado nyo nga nakikipag debate sa pangulo ng harapan whithout her being imprisoned or drag outside when that event happen.. Bullying the media? on what grounds? by saying to them that they are fake? the president has the right to say that if he wanted to it does not harm anyone. sabi nga sa kasabihan ng mga Americano " What is freedom of expression without freedom to offend? It ceases to exist. Same thing din naman pag media ang mambabara the president should not silenced the press by shutting them up but let the flow of ideas spread eventhough it means offending the other person. and The best way to battle fake news is the truth. Yan ang esensy ng demokrasya sasabihin patay na daw ang demokrasya?? Ang totoong demokrasya ay may opposition na ngawa ng ngawa, dahil walang perpekting gobyerno na nagaka isa ang lahat lahat yan may Dibisyon at kaya kanyang paniniwala at yang tunay demokrasya.
